Hi, I'm Julie!

I'm a self-taught baker with a passion for creating beautiful and delicious baked goods. I've always believed that food brings people together and every celebration, large or small should be special and unique! My love of baking started when I was young and learned how to make cookies and pie dough from scratch from my mother and grandmothers. Once I had my own children, I left my job at a non-profit organization to become a stay at home mom. I started learning how to make decorated cookies and cakes for birthday parties and special family events. Eventually, my family and friends started asking me to bake for them, and I focused on expanding my skills while constantly testing new recipes. Julie's Artisan Bakery was founded in 2017, when the WI Cottage Food Law was passed allowing bakers to sell from their own homes. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to own a small business while still being able to stay at home with my children. I am so grateful to be able to do what I love and truly enjoy creating edible art for my amazing clients. Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your special occasions!
